Your name, address and phone, consistent everywhere.

Verand finds the business entity on your site, has you confirm it, then runs eight weighted checks on how it's stated. Failures come back with a fix; the LocalBusiness block is generated for you.

Local SEO

How your business appears as an entity: your structured data, your name/address/phone, and how consistently they agree.

We identified The Mill Gardens Apartments as a local business.

We found a business address in Bonaire, GA on your site. Businesses like yours are often found through local search, so these checks count towards your score.

Confirm, don't create

Found on your site,
confirmed by you.

The deep crawl reads your LocalBusiness JSON-LD first, then the footer and address markup, and never guesses a name from prose. The row lands unconfirmed. Nothing is submitted anywhere until you say it's right, and a confirmed row is never overwritten by a later crawl.

Business locations

Directories match on these exact strings, so formatting matters as much as content.

Detected, not confirmed

No category chosen. Directories file your business under one, so it is required before you can order Directory Citations. It changes nothing else in Verand.

Directories list you under this. Pick the closest match to what customers search for.

We pulled this from your site. Check it carefully: these exact strings are what get submitted to directories, and correcting a listing after the fact is slow.

The audit

Eight checks,
weighted like a triage.

The entity block, a complete NAP and a consistent NAP carry 10 each; the contact page 6; coordinates and hours 4; the profile link and service area 3. A missing address outranks missing coordinates, which is how a local SEO would order it. No model anywhere in it, and it re-runs from the last crawl at no cost.

The punch-list

What's wrong, why,
and what it costs to fix.

Every failing check says what is wrong on your site, why it matters, what fixing it yourself takes in real minutes, and the route: Verand generates it, you edit it, or it's labour we can take on. Willowdale Equity has an office but isn't a map-pack business, so its four items show as optional and nothing is scored.

What to fix (4)

Why it matters

Precise coordinates help proximity matching, which is one of Google's three stated local ranking pillars.

Doing it yourself

About 10 minutes to look up the coordinates and add them.

Verand can generate this for you. Publishing stays in your hands, as always.

Generate, don't just flag

One block
clears several checks.

Entity, coordinates, hours, profile link and service area are fields of one JSON-LD block, so Verand builds one block rather than five fragments and says exactly which checks it clears. Fields it doesn't know are left out and named, never guessed. You paste it; nothing is published for you.

Paste this into the <head> of every page, or into your site-wide template. Nothing is published on your behalf.

Still missing: opening hours, service area. We left these out rather than guess, because invented structured data is a claim made to search engines in your name.

How it works

Detected, confirmed, audited, generated.

Four steps on data the crawl already holds. The audit is on every plan; only labour is sold.

Questions

What people ask before they confirm the address.

Where the details come from, what the eight checks are, and what Verand will never guess.

How does Verand find my business details?

From the deep crawl it already runs, at no extra cost: no new fetch, no API, no model. It reads LocalBusiness-family JSON-LD first (high confidence), then falls back to a tel: link and a postal address in the footer or an address element (medium or low). A business name is never guessed from page text; if the markup doesn't carry one, the row says so and you type it. The result is written unconfirmed.

What are the eight checks, and how is the score weighted?

LocalBusiness structured data (10), complete NAP (10), consistent NAP across the site (10), a contact page (6), geo coordinates (4), opening hours (4), a Business Profile link from your structured data (3) and a declared service area (3). The score is the weight passed over the weight evaluated, so a missing address costs more than missing coordinates. The punch-list is ordered critical first, then by weight.

What happens when my site lists more than one address?

The consistency check pauses rather than guessing. Two versions of an address in the same town are drift and get flagged with the pages carrying each version; addresses in different towns may be branches, so the check reports itself as not checked, the score is computed only over what ran, and the summary line says how many checks didn't. One primary location is detected today; extra locations are added by hand, each with its own profile and its own listings.

Does it check my Google Business Profile?

Opening the Business Profile card runs one lookup of Google's public place data for your confirmed name and address. A hit is accepted only when it corroborates against your site (website host, then phone, then street); otherwise it is shown as ambiguous, never as yours. A match reports six things: profile found, phone agreeing with your site, primary category, hours, website link and review volume. If the lookup can't run, the card says so instead of reporting a clean pass. Profile optimization and management are listed as coming soon, and the deeper audit of your own profile through Google's Business Profile API isn't built.

Will Verand publish the schema to my site?

No. The generator produces one JSON-LD script block from your confirmed details, byte-stable so you can diff it against what is on your site. You paste it into the head of every page or your site-wide template. Fields it doesn't have are omitted and listed as still missing; it never fills a gap with a plausible default, because that would be a claim made to search engines in your name.

Is the local audit on every plan, and what does it cost?

Every plan. The audit is deterministic and runs from the crawl your plan already includes, so nothing is metered and there is nothing to upgrade for. It is shown for any site with a physical presence; a business that has an office but isn't found through local search sees the same findings as optional, unscored. The only paid item on the page is labour: Directory Citations at $500 one-time per location, orderable only once the NAP is complete, confirmed and consistent, and it starts with a free check of where you are already listed.
