Business ProfileLive

Your listing, checked against every page of your site.

Verand looks your Business Profile up the way a customer would, then compares the name, address and phone it finds against the ones on your own pages. There is nothing to connect and nothing to authorise.

First

Nothing to connect

No sign-in, no permission, no access to your listing. It reads what is public.

Then

It finds your listing

And it only accepts a match your own details corroborate.

Every audit

It compares

The listing against the name, address and phone on every page crawled.

Never

It does not touch it

No posts, no review replies, no edits. Reading and reporting is all of it.

1 Nothing to connect

No sign-in, because none is needed.

Most integrations start by asking for access. This one does not. Verand reads the same public profile a customer sees when they search for you, which means there is no permission to grant, no account to link, and nothing to revoke later.

It works before you have proved anything to anyone, including on a listing you have not claimed yet.
Because the data is public, the same check runs against a competitor as easily as against you.
What it reads: the listed name, address and phone, the category, hours, rating, review count, website and whether the listing is marked open.
It has no access to your Business Profile account, so it could not post or edit even if it tried to. The deeper own-profile work needs a separate approval from Google and is not built.

One lookup when you run the audit. Not once per page. It is a paid call to Google, so it runs where it is useful and nowhere else.
2 Finding your listing

It would rather ask than attach the wrong listing.

A search for "Smith Dental Springfield" always returns something, and the top result may be a different Smith Dental. Auditing a competitor’s listing and reporting it as yours would be worse than finding nothing, so a result is only accepted when your own details confirm it.

A match is accepted when the phone, the street address or your website host agrees with what you have on file.
When nothing corroborates, you get the candidates and you choose. It does not pick for you.
It will not search on a bare domain. Without a name or a street to check against, any hit would be a guess.
If it genuinely cannot find a listing it says not found, which is itself a finding worth having.

3 What it checks

The listing against every page you publish.

Your address is on your contact page, in your footer, in your schema markup and in your listing, and they drift apart one edit at a time. Verand already read every page during the crawl, so the comparison is free and it is exhaustive.

Name, address and phone from the listing, checked against what each crawled page actually states.
A suite number on the listing and not on the site is the kind of difference that reads as two businesses. It gets flagged.
The result is a punch list with the pages named, not a score with nothing to do about it.

4 What it will not do

It reports. You decide.

The temptation with a local tool is to let it post, reply and edit on your behalf. Verand does not, and on reviews in particular that restraint is not squeamishness: responding to reviews that were never left by a real customer is the kind of thing regulators write rules about.

It does not post updates, reply to reviews or edit your listing.
It does not generate review replies for you to paste, and it never writes a response to a review that is not genuine.
What it produces is a punch list, and a LocalBusiness schema block you can paste, which is the one fix that belongs on your own site.

Before you run it

The four things people ask first.

Do I need to give Verand access to my Business Profile?

No, and you cannot. There is no sign-in for this one. Verand reads the public profile, so there is nothing to authorise and nothing to revoke.

How do you know you found the right listing?

Because a match is only accepted when your own phone, street address or website host confirms it. If nothing lines up you get the candidates and pick, rather than Verand attaching a listing that might belong to someone else.

Can it reply to my reviews or post updates?

No. It reads and reports. Review replies in particular stay with you, and Verand will not write a reply to a review that did not come from a real customer.

What if I do not have a listing at all?

It says so plainly, and for a local business that is usually the most valuable line in the audit.

Running it

Three steps, and no sign-in among them.

The only thing Verand needs from you is which business it is looking at.

1

Confirm your location

Verand pulls a name, address and phone out of your own pages during the crawl. You confirm it rather than typing it again.

2

Run the Business Profile audit

One lookup. It finds your listing, or it shows you candidates and asks which is yours.

3

Work the punch list

The differences between your listing and your pages, named page by page, with the schema block ready to paste.

Nothing here writes to your listing. Verand reads what the public sees and compares it with what you publish. Every change to the listing itself stays yours.

Find out what your listing says about you.

Seven days, every feature unlocked, one click to cancel.

The audit reads public data and writes nothing to your listing. Publishing is a separate step, through WordPress or your GitHub repo.
